A photo gallery that includes images submitted by residents, captures some of the mountain's most beautiful scenery, images of life in the city today and in years long past, photos of historic city vehicles and aerial shots of the mountain. Local businesses and attractions are promoted in a dedicated section of the site.

Education on local initiatives to combat stormwater pollution and a comprehensive, cataloged archive of city ordinances allow residents to stay abreast of important issues.
The new design was constructed after extensive planning undertaken by Medium strategists and city officials. Considerations included crafting new visual elements, organizing content for effectiveness and ease of use, compiling massive amounts of information on ordinances, and developing the site so it can be easily updated by city employees.
"After researching available sources for developing our new web site, we felt Medium provided an excellent package of attractive design, user friendly access and navigation, and the ability for us to manage the site content ourselves," said Lookout Mountain, Georgia Mayor Tom Gifford. "In addition, they have an excellent e-mail package and are taking care of all the necessary registrations, etc. to be active on the web. Their familiarity with the mountain was a plus for us."
"With Lookout Mountain's residents, visitors and businesspeople looking to the internet for information, we wanted to build a site that would serve the community well," said Josiah Roe, President of Medium. "It is easy to navigate, highlights important issues and contact information, and hopefully provides just one more reason to visit the beautiful spaces and lovely community that are found in Lookout Mountain, Georgia."
Medium grasped what we wanted and quickly came up with a good product," said Gifford. "While we are still learning, we are well pleased and have received quite a few compliments. We are looking forward to fully developing the site's potential as a working tool for our city and a source of information for our residents and visitors."
